This facilitated community dialogue will address how professionals, service providers, organizations and individuals can advocate for seniors and those with disabilities to ensure that Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plans are providing services in the most integrated setting. The 1999 Supreme Court Olmstead ruling asserts that, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), states have an obligation to provide services to individuals with disabilities in the most integrated setting, appropriate to their needs.
