Our 1115 Waiver Team here at Access to Independence works together with Healthy Alliance to help bridge the gap between where regular services end and needs still exist. The program is meant to help individuals access services like Housing, Transportation, and Enhanced Care Management in order to improve their physical and mental health with the hopes that it would decrease Medicaid costs.

Our advocacy department helps children and families, adults, organizations, and government entities solve problems related to accessibility, inclusion, and disability rights according best practices, and local, state, and federal law. Click to learn more.

Our benefits counselor’s knowledge of the Supplemental Security Income and Social Security Disability Insurance system can help you apply for benefits and solve problems with payments.

The CANDLE Coalition is a peer-led coalition to reduce substance misuse within Cortland’s disability community. Click to learn more.

ATI has a computer lab anyone can use during business hours. We also provide printing, copying, and faxing services for a small fee.

ATI offers a free medical equipment loan program for anyone who may need medical equipment for a short time. Loans last for up to three months.

Whether you’re thinking about getting a job or changing jobs, ATI’s staff can help you identify your interests, job search, improve your resume and cover letter, and practice your interview skills.

Our nursing home transition staff help people move out of nursing homes and back into the community with the supports they need. 

You can find our Outreach Program staff tabling at community gatherings and sharing information about our services and programs on social media. ATI has a designated, private room with a web camera enabled computer people can use for telehealth and other service based online appointments. Reservations to use the room should be made as early as possible to ensure it will not already be in use.
